Privacy Policy
Last updated: 24 March 2026
meet_ is operated by Haiven Technologies Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we protect it.
1. What We Collect
- Account data: email address and display name when you sign up (via Google OAuth or magic link).
- Calendar data: when you connect Google Calendar, we access your calendar events to compute availability (busy/free blocks), create meeting events, and sync changes. We store encrypted OAuth tokens (AES-256-GCM at rest). We do not read event content beyond what is needed for scheduling.
- Booking data: meeting times, attendee names and emails, and scheduling metadata (source, timestamps).
- Waitlist data: email address if you join the pre-launch waitlist.
2. How We Use Your Data
- Compute available time slots for booking
- Create, update, and cancel calendar events on your behalf
- Send booking confirmation and notification emails
- Deliver webhook payloads to endpoints you configure
- Improve the service (aggregated, non-personal analytics)
3. Sharing, Transfer, and Disclosure of Google User Data
meet_ does not sell, rent, or trade your Google user data to any third party. We do not share your Google Calendar data with other users, advertisers, or data brokers. Specifically:
- No sharing with third parties for their own purposes. Your Google Calendar data is used solely to provide meet_'s scheduling functionality to you.
- Limited transfer to service providers. We transfer data only to the infrastructure providers listed in Section 5 (Neon for database storage, Vercel for hosting, Resend for email delivery) strictly to operate the service. These providers process data on our behalf and are contractually prohibited from using it for any other purpose.
- No disclosure except where required by law. We may disclose data if required by a valid legal process (court order, subpoena). We will notify you unless legally prohibited from doing so.
- No use for advertising or profiling. Google user data is never used for advertising, retargeting, or building user profiles beyond what is needed for scheduling.
- No use for AI/ML model training. Google user data is not used to train machine learning or artificial intelligence models.
4. What We Do Not Do
- We do not sell your data to third parties
- We do not use your calendar data for advertising
- We do not access calendar content beyond scheduling needs
- We do not store calendar event content (titles, descriptions, attendees) beyond what meet_ creates
5. Data Storage and Security
Data is stored in PostgreSQL hosted on Neon (EU region). Google OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM. The application is hosted on Vercel. All connections use TLS.
6. Third-Party Services
- Google Calendar API — calendar read/write access (with your explicit consent)
- Resend — transactional email delivery
- Vercel — application hosting
- Neon — database hosting
- Sentry — error tracking (may receive IP address and user agent for debugging)
7. Your Rights
You can disconnect your Google Calendar at any time from your dashboard. This revokes our access and deletes your stored tokens. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing privacy@getmeet.ai.
8. Data Retention
Booking data is retained for as long as your account exists. Waitlist emails are deleted after you sign up or on request. When you delete your account, all personal data is removed within 30 days.
